All numerical information used for selection of Star Teacher of the Year is taken from the CATEMA system.  The CATEMA system has been in effect for 5 years.  Information for the current school years is tabulated from information entered before February 1, 2006 .

Two (2) teachers are selected from three (3) categories.

Large schools (over 700 students) -  Medium ( 699-250) – Small ( below 250)

Timely entry of students into the CATEMA system.

Timely completion of Student Competency Forms (approval process)

Number of classes taught in the last 3 years.

Variety/different TP classes taught in the last 3 years.

Number of new programs taught in the last 3 years.

Attendance at TP Conferences and training.

Number of students taught.
