The Golden Crescent Tech-Prep Partnership in conjunction with Texas Workforce Solutions, Victoria College, and University of Houston-Victoria would like to announce the upcoming Summer Teacher Internship opportunity called Career Cruise. This one week event will give selected Tech-Prep teachers and counselors an opportunity to gain some valuable professional development and spend three days in a workplace setting shadowing someone working in the discipline that you teach. You will gain some wonderful tools to take back to the classroom as well as have a great deal of fun in the process! You will also be paid $500.00 upon completion of the program. You do not even have to find your work site. Texas Workforce Solutions will do that job for you. This program is available to all Golden Crescent Tech-Prep teachers and counselors. You will be asked to come to Victoria for the first and last day of the event, but you should shadow in the area that you live and teach. The internships will take place during one of the three following weeks: June 12-16 June 19-23 
 July 10-14 You get to choose which week to participate. There are a limited number of openings. So be sure to sign up early. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
